This form is to register for the warranty of Walter.

A Certificate of Guarantee is included in every Educational Technologies product. We try to ensure that every product is in perfect condition when it leaves our warehouse. However, if your product is delivered to you defective or damaged in any way, we guarantee to replace it free of charge. All you need to do is contact your local distributor. Stock permitting, your replacement will be on its way to you as soon as possible.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for purchasing this product from Educational Technologies. We certify that it is delivered to you free from any defect in materials or workmanship and that you are entitled to this warranty subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.  This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and to the product with the serial number written on the Warranty Card, and operates worldwide.
2.  The product is warranted for a period of one year from the date of original purchase.
3.  During the warranty period you will be entitled to free repair or replacement of parts arising from defects in materials and workmanship of the product but excluding damage caused by: misuse, negligence, malicious act or accident; excessive heat or humidity; inflow of any liquid, sand or dirt; operation in direct sunlight or excessive physical force sufficient to deform or damage the case.
4.  The warranty shall be automatically cancelled if the product is modified, tampered with or repaired in any way by anyone other than our staff or authorized personnel.
5.  You are required to return the product to us or our authorized distributor at your cost and with proof of purchase including the original invoice and warranty card.

LIABILITY
Notwithstanding anything herein contained, Educational Technologies shall not be liable to the user or any third party whatsoever for any damage, loss, liability or failure to provide any services under this warranty in respect of any act, omission or negligence of any technician, employee or independent contractor of Educational Technologies relating to the performance or purported performance of any obligations under this warranty.

Educational Technologies or its agents or representatives shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage, including consequential loss, injury or damage arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the service, delivery or use of the product.

PERSONAL DATA (PRIVACY) ORDINANCE
The information which you have provided to us will be used by Educational Technologies Limited in providing services to you in relation to this warranty, and will at all times be governed by the terms of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong. Please note the following:

1.  The personal data supplied by you will be used for the purpose of
a.  Maintaining our records relating to you and your purchases, in order that we may provide maintenance, warranty or other services to you;
b.  Sending you information relevant to your products and advertising and promotional materials;
c.  Determining any amounts of money payable from you;
d.  Any other purposes thereto
2.  Data held by us relating to you will be kept confidential, but we may from time to time provide such information to
a.  Any government or statutory authority
b.  Our parent company or any other company forming part of the Times Publishing Group
c.  Any other person with a duty of confidentiality to Educational Technologies
3.  Under and in accordance with the terms of the ordinance, you have the right to
a.  check whether we hold data about you and access that data
b.  require us to correct any data relating to you that is inaccurate
c.  ascertain our policies and practices relating to data and to be informed of the kind of personal data held by us
d.  require us not to disclose your personal data to any third party without your specific approval.
